We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our team in developing and maintaining robust backend systems for web and mobile applications. In this role, you will work closely with an Agile team, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of applications. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to apply critical thinking, self-motivation, and a passion for delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with an agile team to design, build, and optimize backend solutions.

Mentor junior developers and promote best coding practices.

Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Conduct code reviews, write tests, and ensure the delivery of clean, maintainable code.

Actively participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and user story estimation.

Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, with team members and stakeholders.

Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and improve systems.

Technical Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of backend development with Python in production environments.

Hands-on experience with FastAPI and Pydantic (validation, typing, dependency injection, async I/O).

Strong understanding of microservices architecture and enterprise patterns.

Proficiency with PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, performance tuning).

Proven experience in building and maintaining production-level applications.

Experience building automated tests (e.g., pytest) and delivering clean, maintainable code.

Practical experience with AWS CDK (TypeScript and/or Python) to provision AWS resources (e.g., VPC,

ECS/Lambda, RDS for PostgreSQL, API Gateway, SQS/SNS).

Experience with Cursor, LangChain, OpenAI APIs, or similar AI tools

Bonus Skills:

Experience with Angular and Angular Material (or close collaboration with frontend teams).

Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with messaging services like AWS SQS.

Security fundamentals (OAuth2/JWT, least privilege IAM, secrets management) and cost-aware architecture.
