About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Prompt Engineer (Full-Stack AI) with 5+ years of experience in Data Science to design, build, and optimize prompt-driven AI systems at Netomi. This role combines advanced prompt engineering, agentic workflows, full-stack development, and data-driven evaluation to deliver scalable, customer-ready AI solutions.
You will partner closely with Customer Success, POC, Product, and Data Science teams, owning AI solutions end-to-end—from prompt design to production deployment.

Responsibilities:
• Design and optimize client-specific prompts, prompt recipes, and templates for accuracy, reliability, and business rule compliance.
• Define system prompts, tool descriptions, memory strategies, and guardrails for agentic AI frameworks.
• Build agent workflows, task orchestration, and custom tools aligned with customer requirements.
• Develop end-to-end AI solutions, including backend services, APIs, integrations, and custom scripts for testing and automation.
• Apply data science techniques to evaluate prompt performance, conduct error analysis, and benchmark LLMs.
• Create and maintain automated evaluation frameworks to measure quality, cost, latency, and safety.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, mentor junior prompt engineers, and maintain clear documentation.
• Stay current with advancements in LLMs, NLP, agentic AI, and prompting strategies.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science or applied AI/ML roles.
• Strong expertise in prompt engineering and LLM behavior optimization.
• Proficiency in Python and experience building custom scripts, services, and evaluation pipelines.
• Solid understanding of NLP, machine learning fundamentals, and production AI systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with large language models (GPT-4, Llama 3, Claude, etc.).
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks, RAG pipelines, and tool calling.
• Exposure to frontend or internal dashboard development.
• Background in linguistics or computational linguistics.
• Experience working in agile, customer-facing environments.
