Required Skills
Job Description
Lead complex enterprise programs. Drive customer outcomes. Deliver meaningful impact across government and regulated industries.
At Objective Corporation, we create software that makes a difference.
With over 400 people across Australia, New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom, we build secure, cloud-first SaaS platforms that help government and regulated organisations manage critical information, streamline complex workflows, and deliver better outcomes for their communities.
Our Consulting Services team is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic software implementation programs across Objective’s product portfolio.
This is more than a delivery role. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to customers, lead complex enterprise engagements, navigate high-stakes stakeholder environments, and drive outcomes that extend well beyond project go-live.
You’ll work closely with senior customer stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and executive leadership to ensure projects are delivered successfully, commercially, and with long-term customer success in mind.
This role reports to the Regional Services Director and does not include people management responsibilities.
A day in your role::
• Lead complex enterprise software implementation projects and multi-stream programs from initiation through to successful delivery
• Drive strong governance, delivery discipline, risk management, and commercial oversight across engagements
• Build trusted relationships with executive and senior customer stakeholders, acting as a key escalation and strategic delivery partner
• Lead steering committees, governance forums, project boards, and executive updates
• Collaborate closely with Consulting, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and leadership teams to deliver successful customer outcomes
• Proactively identify and mitigate project, commercial, and delivery risks
• Support business development and pre-sales activities including proposals, delivery planning, commercial input, and customer presentations
• Mentor and guide project team members while contributing to continuous improvement across delivery practices and methodologies
• Champion customer success and long-term partnership growth across assigned accounts
What we’re looking for:
You’re commercially minded, customer-focused, and confident operating in complex enterprise environments.
You know how to lead programs, manage difficult stakeholders, influence decisions, and keep delivery moving in high-pressure situations.
You'll bring:
• Significant experience delivering complex enterprise software or SaaS implementation projects
• Strong program and project governance capability, including risk, commercials, stakeholder management, and executive reporting
• Proven ability to manage large-scale customer engagements across multiple workstreams, timelines, and priorities
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging at executive and steering committee level
• Strong commercial acumen with experience balancing customer outcomes, delivery quality, and project performance
• Experience working within consulting, technology, SaaS, government, or regulated industry environments
• Formal project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent are highly regarded
Why Objective?:
Because you’ll work on projects that matter.
The work is meaningful. The customers are complex. The problems are real.
And unlike many enterprise delivery environments, we combine impactful work with a collaborative culture, flexible working, and genuinely supportive teams.
If you do not tick every box, do not let that stop you. We value potential, learning agility, coachability and diverse perspectives just as much as experience, and we encourage you to apply.
At Objective, we recognise and celebrate our diverse team as pivotal to our strong employee engagement and our high-performing culture, underpinned by Our Values.
We are an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based on any protected characteristics or on any other basis prohibited by applicable laws in the regions where we operate.
To ensure a positive experience, please inform our Talent Team of any adjustments or accommodations you may require during the recruitment process, so we can support you effectively.
