Senior Project Manager – Supply Chain Network Design

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Lead an end-to-end high impact supply chain network design project and develop and evaluate jointly with your team, scenarios, models, and simulations for warehousing/DC-networks and transport routes, e.g. by DC footprint identification with size/volume optimization.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution. Collaborate with the internal project team and external partners (3PLs, DaaS) as well as cross-functionally with stakeholders across operations, procurement, IT, and controlling.

• Analyze historical shipment data from all plants and divisions and propose optimized routing or transport mode based on historical volume and customer requirement clarification, for example, LCL/LCL/LCL to LCL/FCL/FCL, air to sea, LSP-adjustment - to achieve best cost efficiency and performance for Bosch.

• Provide results and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making, and convince stakeholders by showing cost saving, CO2 reduction, or lead time reduction.

• Establish control mechanisms to review network design on a regular basis and propose new route/transport mode, and be the contact point for any inquiries from internal customers within the project.

Educational qualification:

• Degree in computer science, engineering, business, or economics from a reputable university.

 

Mandatory/requires Skills :

• 2+ years of experience in project management

• 3+ years of experience in network design, warehousing, or transport

• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong presentation skills and ability to think about further growth potentials and mid- and long-term strategies.

• Strong understanding of supply chain management and analytics (LSP management, demand planning, Network Design, transport management systems).

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in working or studying abroad, outside India.

• Hands on experience with optimizations Tools like Llamasoft , Anylogistix or similar tools will be added advantage

• Technical Skillset: Excel, PowerBi/ Tableau, SQL, SAP, Oracle, Jira, BlueYonder, Kinaxis

• German language skills would be an advantage.
