What You'll Do

As a Senior Project Manager, you will own delivery execution for one or more complex product lines or cross-functional initiatives. You will serve as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, Data Science, and SRE teams—ensuring they are aligned, unblocked, and consistently delivering high-quality outcomes. This is not a traditional Scrum Master role. This is a strategic delivery role at the intersection of Product & Engineering alignment, Agile execution, Data-driven governance, AI-enabled automation, and Cross-team orchestration. You will be a force multiplier, enabling teams to move faster, with clarity, accountability, and a modern delivery mindset.

• Execution & Delivery Leadership

• Own the end-to-end delivery rhythm: refinement, planning, review, and retrospectives.

• Ensure every workflow is grounded in clarity—stories, acceptance criteria, categories, and estimation hygiene.

• Maintain backlog health and ensure teams always have sufficient, well-scoped work ready.

• Identify and escalate delivery risks early with actionable mitigation plans.

• Cross-Team Coordination & Roadmap Alignment

• Drive alignment across PMs, Engineering Managers, Dev Leads, Designers, and Analytics.

• Translate roadmap expectations into realistic delivery plans and timelines.

• Help teams navigate shifting priorities and operational dependencies across PLs.

• Strategic Advisory & Coaching

• Coach Agile Project Managers, Dev Leads, and team members on pragmatic Agile practices—not dogma.

• Help shape the delivery operating model by identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements.

• Strengthen team maturity through improved estimation, refinement discipline, and iterative delivery.

• Governance, Process Excellence & Compliance

• Ensure consistent application of capitalisation tagging, Jira governance, and documentation best practices.

• Lead data-driven evaluations of throughput, cycle time, blocker patterns, and quality trends.

• Partner with PMO leadership to roll out process changes.

• Reporting, Insights & Stakeholder Communication

• Build and maintain advanced operational reports (trend analysis, PL dashboards, delivery health summaries).

• Provide concise, executive-ready updates to Directors and senior leadership.

• Serve as the first escalation point for teams experiencing operational misalignment or delivery friction.

• AI-Enabled Productivity & Ops Automation

• Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Jira automation) to reduce manual operational overhead.

• Identify new opportunities for automation and actively contribute to the emerging Agentic Framework developed by the Project Management team.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience in Agile project or program management in a technology/product environment.

• Strong understanding of Agile delivery rhythms (refinement, planning, review, retrospectives) in non-textbook, fast-moving environments.

• Expertise with Jira, Confluence, dashboards, reporting, and workflow optimisation.

• Ability to break down complex problems, anticipate risks, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.

• Strong communication: you can simplify complexity, run productive meetings, and influence without authority.

• High emotional intelligence, situational awareness, and resilience.

• Experience in managing cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and SRE.

• Familiarity with AI tools (Cursor, Claude) or a willingness to learn quickly.
