OLR USA is a key part of OLR’s global operations, supporting clients across North America and internationally. While most of our U.S. team works remotely across the country, OLR maintains its headquarters office in Cleveland, Ohio. This is also home to one of OLR’s data centers and a critical component of our global technology and support infrastructure.
OLR operates with a distributed workforce model across the United States, allowing team members to work remotely from various locations. Employees based near the Cleveland office benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, combining in-office collaboration with remote work.
Our U.S. based professionals collaborate closely with teams in Europe, India, and Latin America, contributing to Oracle Retail systems integration, cloud and data initiatives, and continuous improvement programs for global retail operations.
The Role
The Senior Project Manager supports the successful delivery of Oracle Retail Xstore POS and omnichannel technology implementations by applying project management practices and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role focuses on coordinating project activities, maintaining project plans, and ensuring effective communication between internal teams and clients.
The Project Manager contributes to the successful delivery of retail technology implementations while developing expertise in retail systems, software implementation, and consulting delivery practices.
In this role, you’ll:
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of Oracle Retail Xstore POS and omnichannel implementation projects
Assist in defining and maintaining project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and client stakeholders
Coordinate activities across project teams including business, technical, and infrastructure consultants
Track project progress against project plans and report on status, risks, and issues
Maintain and update key project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, action logs, and risk registers
Assist in preparing and distributing regular project status reports
Participate in project meetings with internal teams and client stakeholders
Support the management and tracking of project risks, issues, and dependencies
Facilitate coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables
Assist in monitoring project schedules and resource allocations
Support issue tracking and coordinate follow-up actions to ensure resolution
Contribute to activities related to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC)
Assist in preparing for project milestones, including testing phases and go-live readiness activities
Support go-live planning and assist with readiness assessments for system implementations
Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and client teams
Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes and documentation practices
Coordinate work across project team members including business consultants, technical consultants, and infrastructure consultants
Facilitate collaboration across distributed or remote teams
Support senior project managers in aligning team activities and project deliverables
Help ensure project team members are informed of timelines, priorities, and deliverables
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Ideally with 6 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, including roles in project coordination or project management within other retail application (POS/Omni).
Experience participating in software implementation or integration projects
Exposure to consulting environments or client-facing project delivery is beneficial
Retail experience is required, with a strong focus on Point of Sale (POS) and omnichannel technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience supporting medium to large software Oracle Retail implementation or integration projects
Understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to identify project risks and escalate issues appropriately
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders
Professional and customer-focused approach when working with internal teams and external clients
Demonstrated account management experience, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Experience managing projects and budgets of up to €1M
High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project
