Quick Summary

A highly experienced Senior Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end execution of large-scale hardware deployment, mass production coordination, and multi-site rollout projects.

Job Description

A California-based sustainability and infrastructure group operating across multiple business units is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale hardware deployment, mass production coordination, and multi-site rollout projects.

This is a high-impact, execution-focused role sitting at the intersection of operations and project leadership. The successful candidate will serve as the critical link between executive leadership and frontline teams — owning timelines, vendor relationships, permitting processes, and installation readiness across multiple simultaneous projects.

If you thrive in complex, fast-moving environments, hold yourself and others to a high standard, and have a track record of getting physical, multi-location projects across the finish line without hand-holding — this role was built for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full production and deployment lifecycle for a flagship product rollout, from manufacturing coordination through to site installation and operational handover across 11+ locations
• Manage mass production timelines in close coordination with manufacturing partners, ensuring materials, sequences, and vendor deliverables stay on track
• Drive site readiness across all deployment locations, including permitting, contractor coordination, and installation preparation
• Oversee manufacturing flow and cross-departmental coordination for a second parallel business unit, ensuring both operations run in sync and without delays
• Act as the primary point of contact with city and state departments, engineers, contractors, and external partners
• Maintain rigorous documentation across all active projects — timelines, milestones, BOMs, change logs, and status reports
• Proactively identify risks, resolve bottlenecks, and enforce accountability across internal teams and external vendors
• Provide executive leadership with regular, structured updates — escalating only genuine blockers while managing day-to-day execution independently

Requirements:
Required Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of hands-on operational and project leadership experience, with direct accountability for physical project delivery
• Proven track record managing multi-site hardware rollouts, manufacturing deployments, or large-scale installations from end to end
• Experience coordinating with manufacturers, vendors, contractors, and government or regulatory bodies
• Strong command of project documentation — scheduling tools, milestone tracking, risk registers, and status reporting
• Exceptional follow-through and organizational discipline — nothing falls through the cracks
• Confident communicator who can represent leadership professionally with external agencies and stakeholders
• Able to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, under pressure, without sacrificing accuracy
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions without constant oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing, industrial production, renewable energy, EV infrastructure, telecom, utilities, or construction
• Experience converting manned operations to automated or scaled systems
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or similar ERP/PM platforms
• Exposure to permitting processes with California city or state agencies
• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or equivalent — professional experience is equally valued

Benefits:
Base Salary: $160,000 – $170,000 per year

Bonus: The role may include a discretionary bonus based on performance and overall company results.

Benefits include:

• Health insurance
• 401(k) plan
• Paid vacation leave
