Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)

Your job – Your passion:
• Your role is to lead complex implementation projects. You are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large and/or complex projects.
• Your tasks include clarifying the scope and defining objectives and milestones.
• You are also responsible for obtaining effort estimates and creating project schedules and resource plans.
• You will be responsible for project control and cost calculation, as well as monitoring budgets and risks. In addition, you will proactively manage dependencies and change requests.
• You will conduct project meetings and steering committees and prepare project documentation and reports.
• You will coordinate the project team, ensure adherence to delivery standards and methodologies, and take responsibility for conflict management.
• You will act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and sponsors, both internally and on the client side. You will manage escalations and facilitate decision-making.
• In addition, you will support the continuous improvement of aixigo’s project management practices.

Your profile – Your strengths:
• You have successfully completed your studies in economics, STEM fields, or a related discipline.
• You have 7+ years of professional experience in IT project management of complex projects and a proven track record of delivering projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• You have a keen interest in, or experience with, the financial sector.
• You possess strong risk management and problem-solving abilities.
• You demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, and have experience working with senior leadership and executive sponsors.
• Furthermore, you have strong skills in process design, documentation, and project management.
• You are a confident communicator in German and English (French is a plus), work independently, are a true team player, and have a keen awareness of the needs of your stakeholders.
