Position Overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role within the Overwatch EMEA delivery team, supporting the execution of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects across Spain.
Acting as an on-site representative of the owner, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day project delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. Working closely with the Head of Construction and wider owner, design, and contractor teams, you will drive schedule certainty, cost control, quality assurance, and risk management across fast-paced capital programs.

Responsibilities
Support end-to-end project delivery for mission-critical data center developments, from early works through commissioning and handover
Manage day-to-day coordination between design, engineering, construction, utilities, and commissioning stakeholders
Lead pre-construction activities including scope validation, constructability reviews, logistics planning, and site mobilisation
Manage project schedules, progress tracking, and reporting, ensuring alignment with overall program milestones
Support procurement and contracting strategies, including EPC/GC and multi-package delivery models
Oversee contractor performance across safety, quality, cost, and schedule metrics
Assist with development and management of project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and change control processes
Identify project risks and constraints, supporting mitigation planning and issue resolution
Conduct regular site presence to validate construction progress, safety compliance, and quality standards
Maintain clear and consistent communication with client stakeholders and internal leadership
Support commissioning readiness, operational handover, and close-out documentation
Ensure compliance with HSE, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements at all times

Qualifications
Proven experience delivering complex construction projects, preferably within mission-critical or data center environments
Solid understanding of data center construction methodologies, MEP systems, and commissioning processes
Experience working with EPC/GC contractors, OFCI equipment, and utility coordination
Strong project scheduling, tracking, and reporting skills (P6 or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience in cost control, forecasting, and change management
Ability to operate effectively in an owner-side or consultancy-led delivery role
Professional fluency in Spanish and English
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in high-pressure environments
