Responsibilities
• Responsible for solving complex problems within their discipline, leading smaller projects, and providing informal guidance to colleagues.
• Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, especially related to application development and cloud migration efforts.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) if the project methodology is Agile.
Must Have Skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably managing application development or system migration projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage diverse project teams.
Nice to Have Skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
• Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master) or proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence or equivalent.
• Experience managing projects related to ERP (SAP) or CRM systems.
