The eLearning and Multimedia Senior Project Manager will both independently manage eLearning/Multimedia projects directly assigned to them (scoping and quote, project planning, execution, tracking, delivery and closure using Welocalize standard processes and tools) and will support the Operations Squad Lead in quote for new business and client engagement.

An eLearning and multimedia Senior Project Manager will own relationships with the customer at the project level and work closely with Welocalize account and production teams to optimize delivery, client satisfaction, quality and profitability.

Main duties:
• Preparation, analysis, and execution of project plans in line with Welocalize standards (Project Start, Workflow, Completion, invoicing, client updates, etc.)
• Creation and management of project schedules, estimates, and client proposals
• Risk assessment and strategic planning to minimize issues
• Management of QA projects (resources, defects, reporting)
• Collaborative work on project and client objectives with stakeholders across teams
• Development and maintenance of process documentation
• Independent operation with appropriate escalation of issues beyond scope
• Partnership with production teams to improve delivery efficiency and profitability
• Building and maintaining strong internal and client relationships, reflected in customer ratings
• Clear and timely communication with all stakeholders (clients, account teams, production, vendors)
• Accurate and up-to-date financial and project data management
• Reporting on project status, budgets, time management, and client/vendor issues
• Ensuring project profitability through margin management
• Planning and leading quarterly business reviews with clients

Experience:
• Proven track record of Project Management
• Experience in the localization industry
• Experience in technology related company
• Proven experience dealing with large clients
• Proven track record of success at managing large projects
• Proven track record of active participation in development of processes and ideas
• Proven track record of active participation in new client sales cycles, incl. presentations, analysis, recommendations and relationship development
• Experience in managing financial budgets, budget reconciliation and budget reporting
• Experience with translation and eLearning/Multimedia tools, such as XTM, CaptionHub etc.

Education Level:
• Master’s Degree OR Bachelor’s Degree and experience in the industry in lieu of Master’s Degree acceptable
