JMT Consultants Detailing Private Limited is a growing structural consulting firm that is seeking an experienced Tekla Steel Detailing Project Manager
to join our dedicated team.  

We are looking for a detail-oriented team member who can accurately and efficiently coordinate projects to ensure schedules are met and client standards are upheld.

Job Responsibilities: 

Requires good experience with Structural Steel Detailing & Designing work. 

Requires good experience with US commercial projects. 

Day to day management of projects and staff to ensure quality, client standards and schedule requirements is met. 

Good knowledge on Checking, Modeling, and Fabrication & erection process is desired. 

Provide technical guidance to drafting and junior engineering personnel and co-ordinate design and drafting work within assigned area. 

Prepare drawing packages and issue to the client as per scheduled delivery dates. 

Manage RFIs and Change Orders. 

Coordinate with HQ to meet project requirements 

Work directly with operations director to ensure client satisfaction 

Should have exposure in any of the codes like CISC & AISC 

Handled the team of Modelers, Checkers Editors to achieve desired results. 

Proficient in steel detailing software like Tekla. 

Meeting Project Delivery Deadlines. 

To ensure all the office procedures, manuals and client standards are understood and followed meticulously by the staff. 

Keeping track of schedules and deliverables on all the jobs 

Extensive in-depth knowledge of Tekla Structures, steel detailing and managed a team 15+ Modelers, Detailers and Checkers 

Guide and interact with in house modeling and editing teams and ensure that all learning on the job is passed onto the team. 

Maintain project reports and trackers. 

Coordinate with all internal departments and clients based on the need. 

Qualifications: 

Advanced level of knowledge of Tekla Structures. 

Must know AISC & CISC Standards. 

10+ Years of experience in the Steel Detailing industry willing to consider candidates who can
demonstrate
significant experience in a related field. 
5+ Years of experience in Project Management. 

Considerable proficiency and experience in working on Commercial US Projects. 

Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel construction, fabrication, and the ability to read drawings. 

Proven project management and coordination skills. 

Self-motivated and ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal guidance. 

Deadline-driven with an attention to detail. 

Must have 5+ years’ experience in AISC / CISC Projects. 

Must have good communication skills. (Written & spoken). 

Must have good experience in Model Checking & Erection Checking. 

Education: 

Under Grad: B. Tech/B.E. - Civil, Mechanical 

Diploma: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, PG Diploma - Any Specialization, Civil, Mechanical
