Senior Project Director - Roads/Highways (DEL 151)

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Project Director - Roads/Highways who will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and overall success of our roads and highways projects. This high-level position requires a strategic leader with extensive experience managing complex infrastructure initiatives, guiding them from conception through completion while ensuring alignment with our organization's ambitious vision for an innovative and interconnected future.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing road and highway construction, enhancing transportation networks that support Qiddiya’s development goals. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and engage with various stakeholders to deliver projects that uphold quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for roads/highways projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines.
• Oversee the project lifecycle from planning and design to execution and delivery, ensuring all phases are completed successfully and efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and planning, to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Manage extensive budgets, resource allocation, and contract negotiations while ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Engage with governmental agencies and stakeholders to navigate the regulatory environment and secure necessary approvals and permits.
• Conduct regular project reviews, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards; implement corrective measures as necessary.
• Enhance stakeholder communication through regular updates, community engagement, and feedback mechanisms.
• Lead risk assessment processes, evaluating potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
• Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and collaboration.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, specifically in roads and highways infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, road design methodologies, and construction project delivery processes.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities with experience building and managing high-performing teams across diverse disciplines.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficient in project management software and similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to effectively manage projects under pressure.
• Experience with governmental and regulatory framework related to road construction and infrastructure projects.
