Monitor and control capital expenditure across engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
Develop and maintain detailed project budgets and rolling CAPEX/OPEX forecasts.
Perform variance analysis and provide clear, actionable insights to project leadership.
Build and maintain financial models to support feasibility studies, investment cases, and funding decisions.
Prepare monthly project financial reports, dashboards, and governance packs.
Partner with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost accuracy and financial integrity.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
Contribute to ERP (e.g. SAP) and reporting system enhancements to support future scalability.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; CA/CPA preferred.
Experience:
8+ years’ experience in project accounting, FP&A, or finance roles within mining, resources, or construction.
Strong experience in CAPEX governance and capital project financial control.
Previous mining experience is highly regarded; hydro-mining exposure is an advantage.
Expertise:
Advanced budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling skills.
Strong understanding of project accounting, revenue recognition, and cost control.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and advanced Excel capabilities.
Technical Competencies:
