Senior Program Manager – Electrical Systems Delivery
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Marietta, OH (Onsite)
Starting Salary: $120,000/year (higher based on experience)
Position Summary
We are hiring a Senior Program Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale customer projects involving engineered electrical equipment and power system solutions. This role is responsible for guiding projects from initial contract transition through production, shipment, and final customer acceptance.
Based at a manufacturing site, this position works closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, meet contractual requirements, and are delivered on schedule.
Core Responsibilities:
End-to-End Project Leadership
• Manage assigned programs from post-award handoff through final delivery and acceptance
• Own overall execution, including scope, schedule, and coordination across teams
• Organize and lead internal kickoff meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
• Develop and maintain detailed timelines, deliverables, and key milestones
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to maintain progress
Contract & Commercial Management
• Review contracts, purchase orders, and technical scope for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate scope clarifications and change management activities
• Ensure consistency between commercial agreements, engineering outputs, and production deliverables
• Support billing milestones, required documentation, and customer acceptance processes
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Serve as the central point of alignment between engineering, production, quality, logistics, and commercial teams
• Drive accountability and maintain visibility across all phases of execution
• Manage configuration changes and ensure clear communication of updates
• Escalate issues when needed while maintaining forward progress
Client & Stakeholder Communication
• Lead regular project update meetings with customers and external partners
• Provide clear, professional updates on schedule, testing, and delivery status
• Manage expectations and maintain strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Represent the organization in high-visibility project environments
Required Experience & Skills:
• At least 7 years of experience in project or program management within manufacturing, electrical systems, or infrastructure environments
• Proven track record of managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
• Strong understanding of production-based project execution models
• Experience working directly with customers, contractors, or EPC firms
• Ability to interpret contracts, schedules, and technical documentation
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable working onsite and collaborating closely with plant teams
Preferred Background:
• Experience with integrated or modular electrical systems
• Exposure to mission-critical infrastructure or data center projects
• Familiarity with ERP platforms and project tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet or similar systems)
• Experience coordinating Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and delivery logistics
