Join us as our Business Analyst / Product Owner at Dedalus, one of the World’s leading healthcare technology companies, in Denmark, Copenhagen to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact in providing better care for a healthier planet.
What you’ll achieve
We are looking for a Business Analyst / Product Owner for LABKA – a mission-critical laboratory system that supports sample handling, requisitioning/response, workflows in the laboratory and integrations to the rest of the hospital's IT landscape. You will be the person who ensures that needs from the laboratories are translated into clear, prioritized and testable deliveries – with a focus on quality, predictability and good user experience.
You work closely with Product/Delivery, developers, testing/QA and operations/support – and are central in creating a common understanding of "what do we build, why, and what does it mean in practice in the lab".
You will:
• Backlog & prioritization: Own and mature backlog (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria) and ensure ongoing prioritization together with stakeholders.
• Needs clarification in the lab domain: Collect, analyze and structure input from laboratories and key users – and describe workflows, variations and edge cases.
• Requirements, process and "definition of done": Ensure that requirements are unambiguous, testable and linked to relevant flows (e.g. samples, analyses, labels/prints, corrections, traceability).
• Quality & release readiness: Contribute to raising quality by ensuring clear scenarios and alignment of expectations before release (what changes, who is affected, how is it validated).
• Stakeholder management: Facilitate workshops, clarify conflicts in needs, handle trade-offs and create a basis for decision-making.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with development, architecture and operations/support to ensure that solutions are robust, operational, and realistic to implement.
Take the next step towards your dream career
At Dedalus Life flows through our software. Every day we do something special by helping caregivers and health professionals deliver better care to their served communities. Take the next step in your career that will make a profound impact. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:
Essential Requirements
• Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Manager or similar in complex B2B/enterprise solutions.
• Domain knowledge of the IVD / laboratory IT area and preferably experience from laboratories (hospital/private labs) or laboratory workflows.
• Experience working with LIS/LIMS or integration-heavy solutions (HL7/other standards are a plus).
• Ability to write strong user stories, make clarifications quickly and drive progress without losing the details.
• Languages: Danish and English (written and oral).
• Method of work: Hybrid (3 days in the office / 2 days at home)
Desirable Requirements
• Experience with service design (workshops, user journeys, blueprints) and user involvement in operation-intensive environments.
• Experience in collaborating with international teams and making requirements understandable across culture and geography.
Personal competencies:
• You are structured, can create an overview and make complex topics actionable.
• You are pragmatic and solution-oriented: "what is the minimum that creates value – without compromising on safe operation?"
• You are strong in relationships and can handle many stakeholders with calm and clarity.
