The Impact You'll Make (Unified File Management):

Our UFM domain is creating the intelligent backbone for WPP Open, powering collaboration and AI insights across a global network. This involves tackling complex integration of diverse features, building granular content permission hierarchies, and fundamentally enabling Agentic AI to securely access, understand, and leverage vast amounts of information across the platform. You will directly shape how AI drives creativity, enhances productivity, and ensures compliance through intelligent data handling and contextual retrieval, unlocking significant value.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Senior Product Owner, you will own the UFM product area from discovery through delivery and iteration, operating across strategic, tactical, and execution levels with a hands-on, detailed approach.

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and articulate a clear product roadmap for Unified File Management, aligning with WPP Open's strategic goals and the evolving needs of agentic AI.

• Detailed Ownership: Translate high-level vision into detailed requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases), managing and prioritising the backlog based on value.

• Technical Deep Dive: Engage deeply with engineers, architects, and delivery managers on feasibility, design trade-offs, complex system architectures, APIs, data flows, and technical solutions for intelligent file management and content permissions.

• Execution Leadership: Guide cross-functional Product Squads through the full product development lifecycle, including leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Stakeholder & Go-to-Market: Translate complex technical concepts into business value, and collaborate with GTM functions for successful roll-outs and adoption.

• Measurement & Validation: Define and track key product metrics, validating ideas with user discovery, proofs of concept, and user testing.

• Innovation: Explore and implement innovative solutions for content permissions, data handling, and secure AI access to information.

What We're Looking For:

Product Ownership Expertise:

• Demonstrable experience owning a significant product area from discovery to iteration, ideally within technical products/platforms.

• Expertise in defining detailed requirements, strong backlog management, and value-driven prioritisation (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW).

• Experience leading demos and validating ideas through user research and testing.

Technical Acumen & Delivery:

• Proven comfort and experience working in highly technical product environments, genuinely engaging with engineering challenges and solutions related to data, APIs, and system integrations.

• Capable of understanding complex system architectures and data flows, particularly as they relate to content management and AI interaction.

• Experience guiding teams through the full product development lifecycle in agile (Scrum, Scaled Agile) environments.

• Proficient in digital collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MIRO.

• Hands-on experience leading UAT.

Communication & Influence:

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and vice-versa.

• Stakeholder management skills

• Proven ability to lead discussions, present findings, and drive collaboration with Go-to-Market teams.
