Job Title: Senior Product Owner

Location: Hybrid – Cairo, at AirNXT

Department: Product

Reports To: Head of product

Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: 4+ Years

Purpose of the Role:
Be the execution engine of Airnxt’s product organization. Convert product vision into clear, well-sliced, well-defined, development-ready work. Operate as the daily product authority for the engineering team in Egypt.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own backlog end-to-end: shaping epics, slicing stories, writing acceptance criteria.
• Run refinement with engineering & delivery; eliminate ambiguity before sprint planning.
• Partner with Delivery to enforce Definition of Ready/Done and prevent scope creep.
• Translate high-level product direction into executable increments and realistic timelines.
• Own sprint outcomes: story quality, acceptance, change control, demos.
• Maintain the truth layer: PRDs, flow diagrams, specs, release notes.
• Coach junior PO, enforce product hygiene, and model calm, structured communication.
• Act as escalation point for Egypt engineering on product questions.

Required Capabilities
• Strong product execution muscle — slicing, story writing, refinement leadership.
• Excellent communication with engineers, able to defuse tension through clarity.
• Strong delivery instinct: knows when to cut scope, when to push, when to wait.
• Ability to absorb a complex domain and make it simple.
• Emotional steadiness.
• Experience working with distributed teams.

Experience Profile:
• 4–7+ years product ownership in SaaS or enterprise systems.
• Bonus: Aviation, ERP, logistics, workflow-heavy products.
• Must be Egypt-based, full-time employee
