The Product Owner is responsible for defining and managing the product backlog for AI powered and digital fintech solutions, ensuring the development team delivers products that maximize value for users and stakeholders in a regulated FinTech domain. This role acts as the voice of the customer and collaborates closely with the development team and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on user and business value.
• Refine user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the development team.
• Gather and analyze requirements from fintech and banking stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable product backlog items.
• Participate actively in sprint planning and review meetings.
• Provide timely clarification and guidance to the development and testing team during sprints ensuring continuous progress and removing ambiguity.
• Partner with testing teams in test planning and defect triage to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure stories meet functional, security, and regulatory compliance mandates.
• Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders.
Requirements:
What you will bring to the role
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a related role within a technology-driven environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is essential.
• Experience with AI/ML products or fintech/banking domain strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
• Solid understanding of software development & testing processes.
• Familiarity with user-centered design principles.
• Experience with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) for backlog management.
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML product development cycles.
• Awareness of security requirements and regulatory compliance mandates in financial services.
