About the Role
StraitsX is the pioneering payments infrastructure for digital assets space in Southeast Asia developed by Singapore-based FinTech Xfers, which is a Major Payment Institution licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore for e-money issuance (now part of Fazz). StraitsX offers personal and business accounts to deposit, hold and withdraw funds as well as to connect their accounts to digital asset platforms. Business accounts can also access B2B API-enabled payments rails for digital asset platforms and issues the Singapore Dollar-backed stablecoin, XSGD.
What You Will Do
• You will be driving a world-class product experience through ensuring operational excellence in daily settlement, including both fiat and blockchain-based transactions.
• You will actively engage with internal teams to provide product operations support while working cross-functionally to resolve issues using technology and automation.
• You will participate in daily reconciliation, risk mitigation and investigation across StraitsX’ fiat and blockchain-based transaction flows.
• You will bridge the gap between product limitations and user expectations to achieve user satisfaction.
• You will be supporting the launch of new product lines and product offerings, ensuring a smooth and seamless product and customer experience.
What We Are Looking For
• You have at least 2 years experience in Operations in a regulated financial environment, with a broad understanding of transaction flows, risk control, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
• You are outspoken and have the ability to communicate/escalate concerns and facilitate the right stakeholders in a discussion before they become issues.
• You possess an understanding of stablecoins, blockchain networks, custody solutions, and DeFi protocols.
• You have excellent organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• You are adaptable and flexible to work collaboratively in a fast-paced/dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.
• You possess exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• You possess a strong critical thinking mindset and resourcefulness, and you are passionate about understanding how things work and figuring out root causes to resolve issues.
• You are comfortable with shift work and potentially on some weekends as well.
