Our marketing team is a group of creatives, designers, marketers and strategic thinkers who are passionate about increasing awareness of Configura and our products. Most days you can find the team brainstorming together, creating marketing strategies, writing emails to customers and users, crafting social media content, editing videos, creating product artifacts for sales and so much more! The Senior Product Marketing Specialist’s main responsibility is providing clarity, communication and market understanding of Configura’s product offerings. This particular position will focus on product communication efforts specifically for the commercial interiors industry.

To be successful as a Senior Product Marketing Specialist, you’ll excel in working collaboratively. An expert in bringing together various functions and stakeholders to drive content creation, maintain brand consistency and ensure product updates and launches are well understood and effectively delivered. Sitting at the intersection of product, sales and marketing you will drive the strategic and tactical process of defining and communicating our product’s unique value and differentiators.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Serve as a product-area specialist (ie. CI, MH, KB), contributing insights into market expectations, competitive landscape, and product capabilities.
• Participate in PLM by sharing market research, competitive insights, and recommendations that support leadership decisions.
• Translate approved product strategy into clear content needs, packaging direction, and communication outlines for Marketing.
• Create written and visual product content, including release materials, presentations, documentation, updates and feature explanations, ensuing clarity and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing Visual team to ensure assets created follow Configura’s visual standards and maintain a cohesive, on-brand look and feel.
• Develop briefs, outlines, and initial drafts to guide the Marketing team in producing final assets that may be created by others as needed.
• Collaborate with the GTM Manager to prepare packaged materials for internal readiness and enablement.
• Coordinate timelines and content requirements with Marketing, GTM, and Product teams during product update cycles.
• Support development of documentation, onboarding materials, presentations, and other communication assets through guidance and product expertise.
• Review written and visual content for product accuracy and alignment with approved messaging before final approval.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure clear communication of feature updates, product changes, and value messaging.
• Bring forward market trends, competitive examples, and industry insights that help refine product communication and packaging.
