Description -
Job Summary
This role is responsible for shaping and refining the global Consumer Personal Systems strategy, roadmaps, and offerings for HP Omnibook 3 series. Omnibook 3 series is designed and purposed to address the core segments. Broad and deep knowledge of PC industry and market dynamics is crucially required to lead and foster the existing product managers for strategic planning, flawless execution, and effective communication with cross functional teams including R&D, solutions teams, and regional teams to bring the product/solutions to market on spec, on cost and on schedule.
Job Description
• Responsible in managing HP consumer core notebook products at portfolio level
• Providing guidance and fostering existing core product managers for growth and developments
• Including activities required during cycle planning, product development, launch, post-launch and sustaining
• Make best/appropriate decisions for product/customers
• Work with messaging team on product story telling
• Perform competitive analysis to support Consumer Personal Systems life cycle strategies
• Work with regional teams and system teams in meeting customer requirements
• Take on separately assigned cross platform initiatives
Qualification
• 13 years+ PC Product Marketing/Management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/Technical major
• Broad and deep Knowledge of PC industry/PC market dynamics
• Extensive experiences in working with system ODM, component and key technical suppliers (Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, Microsoft etc.)
• Demonstrates a growing mindset, embraces changes, adjusts proactively to evolving business needs, and exercises strong teamwork to drive collective success

• Impacts multiple teams and act as the Core Product team leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process
Complexity
• Provides highly innovative solutions to complex problems within established policy
• Guards Consumer Personal Systems business with a delicate balance of complexity in mind
