Job Description

An enterprise client is currently seeking a Senior Product Manager with deep expertise in video workflows to help define, document, and optimize end-to-end media delivery pipelines across broadcast, digital, and OTT platforms.

This project focuses on owning and improving scalable, data-driven video workflows, from ingest through delivery while translating complex technical requirements into clear, actionable product outcomes for engineering and editorial teams.

For this project, the selected candidate will:

• Own and evolve video workflow roadmaps spanning ingest, transcoding, metadata management, storage, and multi-platform delivery
• Translate technical and business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and Jira tickets for Agile development teams
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate and optimize video, data, and OTT APIs across cloud and on-prem environments
• Design and document complex media workflows using BPMN 2.0 to enable automation, visibility, and measurement
• Define video encoding and delivery standards, including codec selection, container formats, HDR profiles, and streaming parameters
• Improve efficiency and consistency across editorial publishing and media operations workflows
• Collaborate with quality teams to implement automated QC checks and monitor video quality, performance, and playback reliability
• Evaluate emerging trends such as adaptive streaming, CMAF, AI-assisted encoding, and next-generation codecs
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and cross-team reviews to align technical delivery with business priorities

Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong hands-on experience with media encoding, codec optimization, and OTT or broadcast delivery workflows - Expert knowledge of video and audio codecs (H.264, HEVC, AV1, AAC, AC-3), container formats (MP4, MXF, TS, MOV), and streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, RTMP, SRT)
• Experience integrating third-party video APIs and OTT delivery services - Working knowledge of FFmpeg, AWS Media Services, GCP Transcoder, Vantage, or similar transcoding frameworks - Familiarity with workflow orchestration, automated media QC tools, and cloud-based video processing environments
• Experience working with metadata standards such as EBUCore, IMF, JSON, or XML
• Product ownership experience translating technical systems into clear documentation, workflows, and roadmaps
• Proficiency with BPMN diagramming tools and Agile delivery using Jira - Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and editorial stakeholders
• Fluency in both Arabic and English
