Job Description
About Tendem
Tendem is a new startup spun out of Toloka. They launched in December and are in early launch phase with 2,000 registrations and 40 paying clients. The team is 20+ people. They are building the "Uber for tasks" — a platform where users submit tasks and get guaranteed results. They're going after a slice of the freelance market, focusing on founders and micro/small (and later mid) businesses: data scraping, marketing research, lead gen, sales optimization, and more — use cases where AI alone doesn't suffice and freelance is too expensive.
Tendem is past early launch and is validating their value proposition and use cases before scaling. The goal is to grow to 1,000 paying users; half of their current paying users have already paid twice. They use an internal AI agent and put heavy focus on where human value vs AI sits and on core use cases and product quality.
Now Tendem is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join their core product team. You'll report to the Head of Product and work with design, ML, backend, frontend, analytics, and operations. You'll own the core user journey and value, define where human and AI value sit, refine core use cases, and drive quality inside the product — with direct exposure to customers and investors.
What you are expected to do
• Own the core user journey and value by defining where human value vs AI sits, refining core use cases, and improving quality and value inside the product
• Run monetization and pricing experiments with design and engineering
• Define ideal customer profile, core use cases, and the product's "aha moment"
• Establish clear boundaries between AI-driven and human-added value for each use case
• Improve customer retention and recurring payment rates
• Work self-directed by requesting data, forming hypotheses, and proposing a roadmap — no one will "assign tasks" as you own strategy and execution
• Conduct regular customer calls and participate in investor updates
What you need to succeed
• 7+ years of product management experience
• ability to jump between levels from concrete features to structure and strategy
• Hands-on approach
• Startup mindset and willingness to move fast in a small, early-stage team
• High energy and high ownership approach
• Strong data literacy to define metrics, making decisions from quantitative and qualitative input
• Comfortable working across design, ML, backend, and frontend teams
• Genuine interest in AI/LLMs
• Clear communication skills to articulate hypotheses, decisions, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent in English
What you get
• Own core product value and use cases; high impact and direct say in strategy and roadmap.
• Direct work with customers and investors; small, horizontal, international team with no bureaucracy.
• Early launch with real users and revenue; clear mission and strong backing; modern, AI-native product.
• Location flexibility: Remote, CET-friendly.
The vacancy is proudly presented by the hirehire recruiting agency.
"Join Tendem if you want startup-speed impact in a genuinely AI-native product: a small, sharp team shipping real customer value fast, iterating directly with paying users, and figuring out the frontier where humans + AI outperform either alone.”
