Senior Product Manager - Fulfillment

About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager within the Fulfillment Systems & Experience (FSE) group, you will own the core matching engine that powers Gojek’s multi-vertical marketplace. Your role focuses on solving the fundamental platform problem of efficiently connecting demand with supply across services.

You will work closely with operations teams, business stakeholders, and technical partners to translate real-world insights into scalable platform logic. This includes shaping how orders are priced, allocated, and fulfilled under different market conditions, while ensuring the system remains efficient, reliable, and fair for users and partners.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of product, data, and marketplace dynamics, building platform capabilities that support millions of transactions across the Gojek ecosystem.

What You Will Do:
• Marketplace Strategy & Vision: Define and lead the roadmap for core fulfillment services, ensuring the system balances consumer needs, partner sustainability, and platform health.
• Operational Embedding: Work closely with regional operations and "on-the-ground" business teams to understand localized marketplace nuances. You are expected to translate operational pain points into automated system capabilities.
• C-Level Engagement: Act as the domain expert for fulfillment. You must be able to distill complex marketplace dynamics into clear, strategic narratives for C-level executives to support high-stakes decision-making.
• Problem-Statement Ownership: Identify and solve systemic fulfillment frictions—such as reliability gaps, supply-demand imbalances, and execution latency—that impact the platform across all business lines.
• Algorithmic Product Management: Partner with Data Science and Engineering to optimize allocation logic, dispatching priority, and dynamic pricing models to improve booking completion.
• Platform Orchestration: Design scalable, modular capabilities that allow new business units or geographical zones to leverage the fulfillment engine with minimal manual intervention.

What You Will Need:
• Experience: 6-8 years of Product Management experience, preferably in marketplaces, logistics, fintech, or high-scale transactional systems.
• Business & Ops Partnership: Proven track record of working as a "partner to the business," with the ability to sit alongside operations teams to diagnose and solve real-world execution issues.
• Executive Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex technical roadmaps and marketplace trade-offs to C-level leadership.
• Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in using data to identify patterns in system behavior and the ability to define North Star metrics that align with both technical and business goals.
• Scalability Mindset: Experience building "platform-first" solutions that solve generalized problems rather than bespoke, one-off fixes.
• Technical Intuition: Comfortable discussing system architecture, API design, and model performance with Engineering and Data Science teams.

You’ll be part of the Fulfillment & Driver Platform (FDP) team, a cross-functional group of product managers, data scientists, and engineers building the core systems that power Gojek’s fulfillment ecosystem. Our team focuses on the intelligence layer behind marketplace operations, including allocation, pricing, and matching systems that connect demand and supply across multiple services.
