About the role: The Consumer Platforms team exists to ensure Roblox delivers a cohesive, delightful, and highly optimized experience across every device our community uses. As the Senior Product Manager for Console, you will independently define and execute the strategy for Roblox on platforms like PlayStation and Xbox, continuing to elevate our presence to deliver a highly optimized, immersive living room experience. You will navigate first-party ecosystems, champion core feature integration, and drive horizontal initiatives that elevate the console ecosystem. This role reports to the Product Lead for Consumer Platforms.

You will:

• Define the problem space and own the end-to-end delivery of the Roblox console product roadmap across major platforms like PlayStation and Xbox.

• Act as the platform orchestrator, influencing domain teams (such as Social, Economy, and Discovery) to ensure core ecosystem features are adapted and prioritized for the living room.

• Champion cross-platform horizontal initiatives, such as ensuring comprehensive game controller and directional-pad playability across the entire Roblox ecosystem.

• Partner with business development and external partners to navigate rigorous first-party constraints and ensure seamless platform compliance.

• Execute strategic partner promotions within console store channels to drive ecosystem growth and user acquisition.

• Drive initiatives to surface and incentivize high-fidelity, deep-mechanic experiences that resonate with the core console gaming audience.

You have:

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, with a track record of building and shipping consumer-facing products, ideally within gaming, entertainment, or complex platform ecosystems.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.

• Familiarity with first-party platform ecosystems (PlayStation, Xbox) and console-specific growth or distribution channels.

• Proven experience navigating rigorous external partner constraints and managing complex technical dependencies.

• Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to drive clear alignment across distinct domain teams to build actionable roadmaps.

You are:

• A dedicated console gamer, possessing a deep, intuitive understanding of what makes a living room gaming experience truly great, from controller navigation to UI fidelity.

• An ecosystem integrator who excels at balancing strict external partner guidelines with internal platform goals.

• A controller experience advocate who intrinsically understands the importance of intuitive gamepad inputs and advocates for their seamless integration across all form factors.

• A highly independent executor capable of taking ambiguous problem spaces and translating them into clear, actionable delivery plans.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

Annual Salary Range
$280,540—$330,950 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
