Senior Product Manager - AI Agents

We're looking for a senior leader to drive both applied research and product strategy for AI developer infrastructure—someone who can identify high-potential research directions, work directly with researchers to advance them, and translate breakthroughs into differentiated products for cloud and AI-native customers.This role requires rare proficiency across research and product: the ability to spot where the field is heading, place strategic bets, and ship production systems that capture that value. The ideal candidate has published or contributed to meaningful research, built and scaled AI products from zero-to-one, and can operate credibly with research scientists, enterprise customers, and cloud partners alike!

What you'll be doing:

• Identify and lead applied research initiatives in emerging AI domains—including agentic software development, physical AI, privacy-preserving ML, and model alignment—working directly with research teams to advance state-of-the-art capabilities

• Translate research breakthroughs into product strategy, defining roadmaps that develop differentiated offerings for developers and enterprises

• Lead cross-functional teams spanning research, engineering, and product to deliver AI tools and services at scale

• Drive go-to-market with lighthouse cloud partners and AI-native customers, validating research directions through direct engagement and strategic partnerships

• Build technical direction across multiple product areas, ensuring coherent strategy from research through commercialization

• Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across applied research and product management

What we need to see:

• Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field, or equivalent experience

• 12+ years of proven experience with 8+ years in technical leadership roles

• Proven ability to both conduct applied research and ship resulting products at scale

• Deep technical proficiency in modern AI systems including LLMs, generative models, agentic architectures, and distributed inference

• Experience founding or scaling AI companies or initiatives from zero-to-one

• Strong communication skills with ability to engage research, engineering, cloud partners, and executive audiences

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience bringing AI products to market through cloud partnerships or with AI-native customers

• Prior experience building developer platforms or infrastructure products adopted at scale

• Track record integrating acquired technology and teams into larger organizations

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 208,000 USD - 327,750 USD for Level 5, and 240,000 USD - 379,500 USD for Level 6.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
