Senior Product Insights Analyst

The role & impact

As a Data Insights Analyst, you will play a vital part in improving decision-making across the business by transforming raw data into meaningful stories. You will connect product usage data to actual business outcomes, bringing together multiple data sources to create a cohesive picture of how our customers interact with our tools.

Your work involves the execution of last mile analytics, where you will perform deep dives to uncover insights that help small businesses and their advisors succeed. By supporting the validation of key performance indicators, you ensure the business operates with a single source of truth while contributing to a global culture of data-driven growth.

The team & how they connect

You will join the Strategy and Operations team, a collaborative group focused on driving clarity and accountability across Xero. The team works closely with global partners to translate complex business questions into clear analytical problems, ensuring everyone is moving fast on the right things to deliver value.

The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on

• Building reusable queries and interactive dashboards that improve analytics efficiency across the global team.

• Defining and validating operational KPIs and success measures to support informed decision-making.

• Utilising a modern tech stack including SQL and Tableau to extract, transform, and visualise complex datasets.

• Strengthening partnerships with stakeholders by clarifying requirements and providing reliable, context-heavy insights.
