As a Senior Product Designer on Social, you’ll design for our immersive experience sharing experiences. You will design and build end-to-end social sharing products for our core player app, working collaboratively with leaders across product, research, data science, engineering, and Trust & Safety to define social-first experiences for our immersive platform.

You will be the go-to designer for an emerging product area and own the end-to-end experience across mobile, desktop, 10ft, XR wearables, and beyond. You’ll help define UX strategy and long-term vision, develop scalable product patterns, contribute to roadmap direction, and drive sprint commitments across multiple partner teams. You’ll bring a strong point of view on what “great” looks like, and raise the bar for craft, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

You Will:

• Lead end-to-end design for social sharing experiences across Roblox, from concept through launch and iteration.

• Own cross-team initiatives and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, and Trust & Safety.

• Help define UX strategy, long-term vision, and scalable patterns for core social surfaces.

• Design high-craft, intuitive interfaces across mobile, desktop, 10ft, XR wearables, and beyond.

• Partner with Design Systems to build reusable components that scale across teams.

• Use research, analytics, and experimentation to identify opportunities and improve outcomes.

• Deliver high-quality specs and partner closely with engineering to ensure excellent implementation.

• Mentor other designers and raise the bar through critique, collaboration, and craft leadership.

You Have:

• 8+ years of product design experience delivering consumer-facing products (social/communication a plus).

• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end thinking, craft excellence, and shipped impact.

• Proven ability to lead multi-team projects and operate independently in ambiguous spaces.

• Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills across platforms and devices.

• Experience designing scalable systems, patterns, or design frameworks.

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; strong cross-functional influence.

• Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools (3D tools a bonus).

• Passion for gaming, UGC platforms, and the future of immersive social experiences.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

Annual Salary Range
$255,720—$304,560 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
