Senior Product Designer

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join Cloudinary’s Product Design team, working on core product areas within our platform, including the Cloudinary DAM. In this role, you’ll partner closely with a Design Lead and cross-functional teams to design clear, scalable experiences for complex, data-rich products used by technical and professional users such as developers, marketers, and content managers.
You’ll own meaningful product areas end to end, from research and problem definition through high-fidelity design and implementation, while contributing both to the product experience and to Cloudinary’s Design System. This is a hands-on role for a systems-thinking designer who enjoys simplifying complex enterprise workflows into intuitive, elegant UX, leveraging modern AI tools in the design process, and helping integrate AI-powered capabilities into the product in a thoughtful, user-centered way.

What You’ll do:
• Own the end-to-end design process for key product and DAM features, from discovery and research through final UI and implementation.
• Plan and conduct user research to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors across multiple personas.
• Translate complex business, technical, and data requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Design scalable experiences for configuration-heavy, data-rich environments and complex workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data teams, and other stakeholders to shape product strategy, roadmap, and specifications.
• Apply, evolve, and contribute to Cloudinary’s Design System, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across the product.
• Drive iterative improvements based on qualitative and quantitative research insights.
• Design scalable user experiences for configuration-heavy, data-rich products with complex workflows while operating within technical constraints.
• Present design work clearly, articulate trade-offs, and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Provide guidance and design feedback to other designers, helping foster a culture of design excellence.
• Leverage AI tools throughout the design process to improve efficiency, exploration, and decision-making.
• Design and integrate AI-powered capabilities into the product, ensuring they are intuitive, explainable, and deliver clear user value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate AI and data-driven capabilities into meaningful, user-centered product experiences.

What You’ll Bring:
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer working on B2B SaaS or complex enterprise products.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design processes, complex flows, and clear UX and interaction thinking.
• Proven ability to simplify complex or technical domains into intuitive user experiences.
• Experience designing scalable systems and working hands-on with Design Systems, in close collaboration with engineering.
• Strong interaction design, visual design, and prototyping skills.
• High proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows; experience creating high-fidelity prototypes (including AI-assisted tools) is a plus.
• Experience using qualitative research, analytics, and experimentation to inform and validate design decisions.
• Solid understanding of technical constraints and how design translates into modern web technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to take ownership and lead areas of work while partnering closely with a Design Lead.
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into user workflows (e.g., automated tagging, search, optimization) and designing for complex data/logic visualization.
• Experience in vibe coding and AI-powered image tools (e.g., generative models, advanced editing features).

Bonus Points:
• Experience designing tools for technical audiences (e.g., developer tools, APIs, complex configuration interfaces).
• Familiarity with visual media (images, video, 3D) creation, management, or delivery workflows.
• Experience working in a globally distributed or remote team environment.
