Fluently is a YC-backed team building an AI speaking coach to improve English during online calls. They recently went through Y Combinator, raised $2.5M, and grew from $100k to $5M ARR in six months. The team is 7 people, including experienced specialists from Google, Nvidia, Lyft, and Amazon. Their mission is to build the best AI product for learning English.

What you will do

• Own the design of the mobile app and web interface, work through flows, and bring screens to a high level of quality

• Analyze the product, review analytics, understand user behavior, and identify improvement opportunities

• Rapidly generate ideas, create multiple solution options, and iterate quickly

• Maintain and evolve the design system in Figma, ensuring product consistency

• Define and maintain a unified visual style for the brand and interfaces

• Apply modern mobile and B2C patterns, balancing restraint, functionality, and motivating (but moderate) gamification

• Take initiative, propose improvements, and influence product decisions

• Collaborate closely with the team, join discussions and brainstorms, and propose initiatives
