About the Role

Miro is looking for a Sr Product Designer to lead the design vision for our Engage product - Miro’s newest product, as well as our suite of facilitation tools that help teams run workshops, energise meetings, and make decisions together. Think Sticky Notes, Flip Cards, Spinner Wheel and beyond.

The successful candidate will have an exceptional eye for detail, and will be able to showcase best-in-class UI design in their portfolio. They'll be an AI-native designer - someone who doesn't just see AI as a feature, but as a fundamental shift in the product development process and ultimately, a massive opportunity.

This isn't just about refining a feature; it's about defining the future of how millions of people collaborate and work effectively together.

What you’ll do

• Define the North Star for Miro Engage. Articulate a product vision that challenges category norms and positions Miro ahead of where the market is going – not just where it is today

• Lead AI-first innovation. Explore how generative AI can fundamentally close the gap between early concept and working product – and bring the rest of the team with you on that journey

• Take an entrepreneurial approach to execution. Navigate ambiguity, build lean experiments, and treat Engage like your own product within Miro. You move fast and make considered bets

• Bring mastery of the design tool landscape. Create a best-in-class facilitation experience that rivals any competitor while maintaining Miro's signature ease of use, and considering how Engage fits across our wider suite of formats

• Drive cross-functional strategy. Partner with Product and Engineering to solve complex challenges around AI quality, feature discoverability, and the seamless transition between Miro's infinite canvas and format focus modes

• Raise the bar for design craft. Set the standard for design quality at Miro, mentoring other designers and contributing to the evolution of our design systems and internal tooling

What you’ll need

• 7+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or AI-focused roles

• A strong portfolio demonstrating both user impact and business outcomes – clear thinking, not just visual polish

• Exceptionally strong UI and interaction skills

• A demonstrated understanding of AI and AI-native design, with examples of how you've applied it in practice

• Experience working closely with Product Management and Engineering to ship complex, user-centred products

• Deep understanding of UX practices, information architecture, and user-centred design methodologies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the value of design across diverse teams
