To ensure our operations run at peak efficiency, we are seeking a Senior Cloud Procurement Expert who possesses a deep understanding of both high-level finance and intricate technology. This role transcends traditional procurement; it involves architecting the commercial relationships that are essential for sustaining our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, leading complex sourcing initiatives without the responsibilities of people management. You will act as the vital link between technical visionaries and commercial realities.

• Strategic Sourcing: Oversee end-to-end procurement cycles for IT, Cloud, and Software, ensuring partnerships with the industry's best.

• Commercial Mastery: Negotiate high-stakes contracts to secure favorable commercial terms and robust legal protections.

• Stakeholder Synergy: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal technical teams, minimizing friction and alleviating procurement complexities for our engineers.

• Process Excellence: Advocate for procurement standards to guarantee that every deal is compliant, transparent, and high-performing.

Qualifications

• Cloud Fluency: Significant experience in IT/Software procurement (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), with a thorough understanding of cloud licensing.

• Negotiation Expertise: A demonstrated history of managing complex RFPs and multi-million-euro negotiations.

• Analytical Mindset: You assess success through metrics such as savings, cycle times, and contract compliance.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and German.
