Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and client-focused Pre-Sales Consultant (PSC) as an extension of our Business Development team.

Key About Your Role

The Pre-Sales Consultant has deep expertise in the Life and Pension insurance domain, supporting SaaS sales cycles across insurers and pension providers. The PSC bridges the gap between business needs, product and technical capabilities, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and crafting tailored solutions that align with regulatory frameworks and evolving customer expectations. The PSC is working from the Netherlands in an international role to support sales processes in Northern Europe.

In this role, your primary focus will be new business within enterprise accounts in the Dutch, Danish and Norwegian markets. You will engage with senior decision-makers, build strategic relationships, and position Keylane as a trusted partner in digital transformation within Life & Pension.

Key About Your Team

The Business Development team within Keylane Life & Pension is responsible for driving commercial SaaS revenue growth across our full product portfolio and across all markets we serve.

We work closely with colleagues across the organization to shape and execute our commercial strategy, accelerate sales, and expand our market footprint.

You will be part of an international and energetic team, working alongside local sales managers in the Netherlands (Utrecht or Rotterdam) and Denmark (Copenhagen) and collaborating closely with our marketing team based in Denmark.

Together, we focus on winning new clients, developing up- and cross-sell opportunities, and building long-term partnerships through successful contract renewals.

Key About Your Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales engagements, including high impact demos for insurers, pension funds and third-party administrators

• Supported sales processes for multi-million euro deals across Northern Europe (Netherlands. Denmark and Norway)

• Strategic thinker, excellent presenter with a consultative mindset

• Passionate about insurance and pension innovation

• Partnered with internal delivery & product teams to offer winning propositions based on clients' needs and manages network of external partners

Ability to re-engineer visions and challenge client assumptions to fit in Keylane’s products


Requirements:
Key About You

• Professional proficiency in both English and Dutch languages (speaking and writing).
• Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of life insurance and pension sector, SaaS and regulatory compliance (e.g., DORA, Dutch WTP).

• Client Engagement: Skilled in stakeholder management, discovery workshops, and building trust with senior client executives, technical teams and business partners

• Demo Excellence: Delivering impactful value-based product demos and proof-of-concepts tailored to client pain points and strategic goals.

• Solution Design: Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SaaS solutions and familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.

• Bid Support: Collaborating on RFPs, RFIs, and proposals with sales, product, and legal teams.

• Market Intelligence: Staying ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and digital innovation in Life and Pension technology.

• Technical skills around SaaS, API integrations, demo environments

• Willing to travel in the target countries

Benefits:

• A monthly gross salary between € 4400 and € 5750 based on 40 hours per week;
