Senior Power BI Platform Developer

Job Summary:

Working with leading global financial institutions as part of our application development and analytics teams, you will design, build and optimize Microsoft Power Platform solutions to enhance reporting, streamline workflows, and support business operations.

Key Responsibilities::
• Build robust, scalable, and high-performance Power BI solutions, including data models, interactive reports, and custom dashboards.
• Retrieve, transform, and prepare complex data sets using SQL, Power Query (M), and other ETL tools.
• Optimize data models and reports for speed, efficiency, and usability.
• Leverage DAX and advanced data visualization techniques to deliver insights and drive data-driven decision-making
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, business analysts, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Experience and Skills::
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Extensive software engineering experience, including 5+ years developing Power BI solutions and 3+ years of experience with the other components of the MS Power Platform
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL for data modelling and transformation.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and data visualization concepts
• Experience with building Canvas Apps and Power Automate flows
• Hands-on experience with Postgres and/or Oracle
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholder

Preferable / Nice to have Experience and Skills::
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Microsoft PL-200, PL-300, PL-400 exams and associated certifications
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as .Net, Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
• Experience with Financial Services, incl. Banking, Payments, Capital Markets
