About the team

As a Senior Platform Engineer in our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) team, you’ll be part of our Infrastructure Services team—leading the charge to scale our global platform, eliminate legacy systems, and unlock a new level of engineering velocity.

This is your chance to shape the tools, systems, and practices that power daily deployments, support millions of users, and keep our infrastructure secure, efficient, and reliable.

What you’ll do

Design and build highly available, automated cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD best practices

Contribute to the modernization of core platform services, removing legacy dependencies and improving developer productivity

Improve observability, reliability, and security across our systems using tools like Prometheus and Grafana

Collaborate with teams to support safe, frequent deployments and deliver scalable solutions to complex problems

Drive the adoption of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code principles across the organization

Mentor and support engineers in best practices, architecture, and infrastructure decision-making

Help us evolve our platform to meet growing performance, compliance, and innovation demands

What you’ll bring

Proven deep platform or infrastructure engineering experience (GCP required)

Strong skills in IaC (Terraform) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or similar)

Understanding of cloud security, observability, and cost efficiency

A collaborative mindset and drive for continuous improvement
