Get to Know the Role

You will play a critical role in Salesforce Platform Design & Architecture and lead a team of external developers and consultants on an exciting journey to enhance our Salesforce platform and improve adoption.

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Platform Developer specialising in Commercial Systems (Salesforce) to join our team. You will develop complex Salesforce solutions that support our commercial operations.

• Lead the development of advanced Salesforce solutions for our commercial systems
• Design custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems and APIs to refine business processes
• Improve existing Salesforce implementations for performance and scalability
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices and design patterns
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and releases, recommending improvements to our systems

 

The Daily Activities

• Individual contributor who will also lead a team of internal/external Salesforce developers spread across different regions.
• Guide software architecture and enterprise capabilities, and design complex solutions.
• Requirement Analysis, effort estimation, promoting best practices recommendations, Solutions presentation, and collaboration.
• Support in creating business and technology roadmaps with Business CRM and Operations (BCO), Procurement & GTS leadership.
• Be a driver of change to improve our ability to serve Grabbers; including identifying gaps in processes, data lifecycle, or new relevant releases in Salesforce platform offerings

Essential Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant Salesforce experience, with all Out Of Box capabilities the Salesforce platform offers, including large-scale SFDC applications, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud modules.
• Application design skills combined with data, integration, and security architecture skills.
• Experience in larger-scale Salesforce implementation, configuration and customisation.
• Proficiency in programming and debugging with Apex, including Apex triggers.
• Familiarity with Web Service Integrations using REST API and SOAP API, along with experience with Authentication mechanisms and Handling Large Data Volumes.
• Knowledge of the Shield Platform, Lightning Aura/LWC frameworks, VF Pages, and Communities, along with an understanding of Security aspects of Salesforce applications and fundamentals in Cyber security.
• Experience in CI/CD platforms, statistical code analysis tools, and deployment activities like Gitlab, Copado, Jenkins, and Ant tool.
• Debugging issues with Visualforce, Lightning components, Flows / Processes, Lightning page performance, SOQL performance, and API integrations.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming languages and concepts.

 

Desirable Requirements

• Salesforce-certified Application or System Architect.
• Experience working with CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, and AppExchange (Conga, DocuSign CLM)
