We are looking for an experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in PL/SQL and Python to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade database solutions. This role requires deep hands-on experience in building high-performance data processing systems, developing complex database logic, and integrating Python-based automation and analytics with database platforms.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you will play a key role in driving database architecture decisions, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability of critical systems. You will collaborate closely with application developers, data engineers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, data-driven solutions.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and cursors for large-scale applications
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis
• Lead development of data processing, transformation, and validation logic within Oracle databases
• Develop and integrate Python scripts and services for data automation, reporting, ETL workflows, and backend processing
• Collaborate with application and data teams to support seamless integration between databases and Python-based systems
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across environments
• Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to database performance and data quality
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and performance benchmarking initiatives
• Contribute to technical documentation and operational guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–15 years of hands-on experience in enterprise database development
• Strong expertise in PL/SQL, including advanced SQL, performance tuning, and complex stored procedures
• Solid experience with Python for backend development, automation, or data processing
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, and normalization
• Experience working with large datasets and high-volume transactional systems
• Proficiency in debugging, profiling, and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code
• Experience with version control systems and deployment workflows
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL pipelines, batch processing, or data warehousing
• Exposure to Oracle performance monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of REST APIs or integration frameworks using Python
• Experience in financial services, telecom, healthcare, or large-scale enterprise systems
• Prior experience in mentoring or technical leadership roles
