Your mission:
• Help us redefine an entire industry by building the state of the art tools for veterinarians based on modern technologies
• Develop and maintain new features for our Core Backend, our website and our vet software
• Develop extensions of our service/technology, such as APIs or other integrations
• Augment existing engineering infrastructure
• Collaborate with us in person, working in Hybrid "2 days a week in office" mode

Your Skills:
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Deep expertise in PHP (Laravel and its ecosystem) and MySQL
• Expertise with API development and integration as well as with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
• Full-cycle software development experience, high standards with best practices including test automation (PHPUnit, Pest), static analysis, etc.
• Knowledge of software architecture principles (MVC, SOLID)
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills
• Ability and curiosity to understand a rather complex and wide business domain (digital veterinary practice)
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar technical field of study, or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability and desire to learn fast
• CI/CD experience

Nice to Have:
• Experience with React
• Web-tech start-up experience
• German language knowledge
