Purpose of Role/Summary:

The PHP Laravel Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining back-end solutions that support web-based platforms such as websites, CRM systems, and mobile applications. The role involves developing APIs, managing data flows, and working collaboratively with front-end teams to ensure seamless integration and high-performance functionality. Strong technical expertise in PHP and Laravel is essential, along with a focus on clean code, scalability, and performance. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and optimizing applications, maintaining databases, and contributing to the delivery of innovative, user-centric solutions within an Agile development environment.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

Develop, document, and maintain advanced web-based applications and backend systems

Build innovative, secure, and scalable solutions in collaboration with UX and front-end teams

Prepare, integrate, and maintain APIs and ensure effective communication between systems

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for speed, security, and scalability

Participate actively in the application lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance

Test and maintain core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and reliability

Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure timely and effective delivery

Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best practices

Contribute to process improvements and advocate for best coding standards

Perform other duties relevant to the role as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, coding bootcamp, or equivalent professional experience

5+ years of hands-on experience as a PHP Laravel developer

Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles

Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs

Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Practical knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, Node.js, and jQuery

Experience with Laravel, PHP, API integration, and unit testing

Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills

Passion for clean code, performance optimization, and continuous improvement

Knowledge of MetaTrader 4/5 platforms and APIs is a plus
