And now, we are looking for a Senior PHP Developer who is prepared to contribute to the next chapter of our company's growth.
The person will join the Payments Systems core team and take on the responsibility of integrating new payment gateways, running experiments, and maintaining the systems that power our users' payment experience while ensuring seamless and secure transactions.
As Senior PHP Developer, you will design and implement payment experiments, integrate new gateways, and optimize existing systems — with direct impact on the payment experience for millions of users.
What you'll be working on::
• Maintain and evolve the large codebase that powers our billing and payments service
• Integrate with external billing-related services and connect new payment gateways
• Solve production payment issues and keep the system reliable and secure
• Design and review software architecture for new payments features
• Implement hypotheses and run experiments to move core business metrics
• Write tests and contribute to a well-covered, high-quality codebase
• Analyze relevant metrics to inform decisions and validate experiment outcomes
What we expect from you::
• 4+ years of commercial programming experience
• Strong PHP skills (8.0–8.3) with production work in Laravel
• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with Redis
• Comfort with Git and Docker in day-to-day workflows
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles
• Ability to assess task complexity, decompose work, and prioritize effectively
• A mature, self-driven mindset and the ability to take responsibility for tasks and whole features end to end
• Fluent Ukrainian or Russian
What helps you rock::
• Experience with payment systems
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with Grafana for observability
