About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Senior People Data Scientist to join our growing People Analytics team in Bengaluru. In this influential role, you will be instrumental in transforming complex People data into advanced, actionable insights that strategically shape our global people strategy. You will lead the exploration and analysis of complex, large-scale datasets spanning the entire employee lifecycle—from sophisticated predictive modelling for hiring and onboarding success to deep-dive analytics on engagement, leadership development, high-impact retention drivers, and workforce planning.

What you'll do:

• Analyse Data: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis on large, complex datasets from various HR systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Qualtrics) to identify key trends and insights.

• Develop Models: Build and deploy predictive models to understand and forecast key people metrics such as employee attrition, performance, and engagement.

• Design Visualisations: Partner with IT to design and build interactive dashboards and reports in tools like Tableau to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Derive Insights: Go beyond the numbers to provide actionable recommendations to HR Business Partners and leadership on topics like talent management, organisational health, and employee sentiment.

• Ensure Data Integrity: Partner with our People Operations and IT teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of our people data.

• Innovate: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, data science, and people analytics, and experiment with new techniques (e.g., Natural Language Processing (NLP) on survey comments, network analysis, AI) to generate novel insights.

Experience you'll need:

Basic Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics).

• Experience: 6+ years in People Analytics, conducting research or data science projects

• Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL; strong programming in Python/R (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, tidyverse) for data analysis and statistical modelling.

• Analytical Knowledge: Solid grasp of statistics, machine learning (regression, classification, clustering), and experimental design (A/B testing).

• Soft Skills: Excellent data communication/storytelling, explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Attributes: Curious, problem-solver, highly discreet with confidential data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with data from Workday, Greenhouse (or other applicant tracking systems), and Qualtrics

• In-depth knowledge of AI tools like Gemini and implementing AI products throughout an organisation

• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau

• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for analysing unstructured text data (e.g., employee survey comments).
