Become a part of our team as a Senior Paraplanner, where you will lead the research of complex cases, produce high-quality reports, and guarantee full compliance in all advice given. You will assist advisers with detailed product analysis, manage the accuracy of applications, mentor junior paraplanners, and facilitate the seamless progression of cases from recommendation through to completion.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out thorough investment research and create customized financial planning strategies.
• Undertake detailed pension research, including the evaluation of current schemes and benefits.
• Investigate and assess pension switching options to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Prepare precise financial planning and suitability reports in compliance with FCA and company standards.
• Provide advice on protection products and trusts to facilitate effective wealth and estate planning.
• Ensure uniformity in documentation standards and templates.
• Guarantee that all client records adhere to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
• Assist in training activities and act as deputy for the Paraplanning Manager when necessary.
Required Skills:
At least 3 years of experience in financial planning or planning involving complex cases.
Proven ability to manage complex cases independently.
In-depth knowledge of UK financial products, lending criteria, and affordability assessments.
Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
Skilled in using sourcing tools such as IO, Defaqto Engage, and Ipipeline.
Capable of independently handling complex cases and offering technical support to the team.

Pension Research
Pension Switching Analysis
Preparation of Financial Planning Reports
Protection Products & Trusts
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred).
Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4) or currently pursuing it.
Candidates working towards Advanced Adviser certifications are highly encouraged to apply.
Additional relevant professional qualifications will be considered advantageous.
