We’re looking for a Senior Packaging Designer to help us scale our packaging output for international products, from retail boxes to shipping cartons and compliance inserts.

🎯 About the Role

This is a senior-level design role focused on developing high-quality packaging solutions across multiple brands. You’ll design primary and secondary packaging (retail box + outer carton), ensure print readiness, integrate FDA/CE requirements, and support layout for inserts and printed manuals.

You’ll collaborate with product and supply chain teams across the U.S., China, and Southeast Asia. If you’re an experienced packaging designer who thrives in remote teams and wants to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

✅ Responsibilities

• Design structural and visual packaging for medical, PPE, and healthcare products
• Create dielines and production-ready artwork for retail boxes and outer cartons
• Translate brand identity into scalable packaging systems
• Apply regulatory compliance requirements (FDA / CE / UDI / safety labeling)
• Support design of manuals, inserts, labels, warning stickers, etc.
• Collaborate with Chinese-speaking factories (Mandarin not required; support provided)
• Maintain organized templates, source files, and revision logs
• Stay current with packaging trends, materials, and cost-effective design approaches

Requirements:
🧠 Must-Have Requirements

• 3–5+ years of packaging design experience
• Strong portfolio with dieline work, print-ready files, and visual branding
• Familiarity with CMYK/Pantone, paper specs, folding structure, boxboard, corrugation
• Knowledge of FDA/CE labeling basics and international compliance marks (UDI, LOT, Recyclable, etc.)
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; 3D tools (e.g. Boxshot) a plus
• Fluent in written English; Mandarin reading is a plus but not required
• Organized, detail-oriented, self-driven
• Able to collaborate remotely across time zones

💡 Nice to Have

• Experience in medical, health & wellness, or regulated product categories
• Experience collaborating with overseas manufacturing partners
• Familiarity with differences between eCommerce packaging and retail packaging requirements (dimensions, material restrictions)
