Position Overview:

MKS2 Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of complex network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network architecture, automation, cloud networking, and software-defined networking, and will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and driving innovation across our network systems.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Minimum of 16 years of relevant experience in network engineering.

• Expert-level knowledge in:

• Network architecture, design, and implementation.

• Routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP, ISIS.

• Switching protocols: STP, LACP, VTP.

• Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting.

• Experience with cloud networking platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with Software-Defined Networking (SD-WAN) technologies.

• Strong ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.

• Skilled in creating technical documentation including designs, implementation plans, and technical notes.

• Capable of presenting and defending designs to technical review boards.

• Experience in MPLS network deployment.

• Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new technologies independently.

• Proven track record as a self-directed learner with the ability to master complex technical concepts.

• Deep expertise in network engineering, with a focus on large-scale environments.

• History of successful network design and performance optimization.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to resolve complex network issues.

• Enthusiastic about learning and adopting new technologies.
