Purpose of Role/Summary:

The Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role requires strong technical expertise in routing, switching, and security technologies, with hands-on experience across platforms such as Fortinet, Aruba, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Unifi. The engineer will maintain and optimize existing networks, deliver new infrastructure projects, and work closely with teams including IT Security, Compliance, and Cloud Operations to ensure all changes meet security and regulatory standards. The position also involves reviewing and implementing findings from vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to enhance overall network security.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless network solutions

Deploy, monitor, and support Aruba, Cisco, and Unifi switching and wireless infrastructure

Support and optimize SASE integrations for secure remote and hybrid access

Participate in incident response and advanced network troubleshooting using in-house tools

Perform network monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning

Lead or contribute to new project implementations, network upgrades, and migrations

Collaborate with Compliance teams to ensure that network configurations meet all regulatory requirements and internal policies

Review and implement security improvements based on vulnerability assessments and penetration test findings

Work with internal teams to maintain a resilient, secure, and compliant network posture

Document network configurations, architectures, and standard operating procedures

Any other duties relevant to the role

    Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a closely related discipline is required

Proven experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise or hybrid environments

Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts, including switching, routing, spanning tree, link aggregation, VRRP, HSRP, and QoS

Deep knowledge of protocols: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and IPsec

Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Aruba, Cisco, and Unifi solutions

Familiarity with AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect) is a plus

Experience with network monitoring, analysis, and incident response tools

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills

Certifications such as Fortinet NSE, CCNA/CCNP, Aruba Certified, or AWS Networking Specialty are highly valued

What We Offer:

Working hours are 09:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday (Cyprus) / 08:30 – 17:00 Sunday to Thursday (Jordan)

The role can be either in Jordan or in Cyprus (accepting candidates from both countries)
