Your Mission

Join ClearEdge as a Network Engineer supporting programs and infrastructure. You will design, implement, maintain, and secure network systems, ensuring reliable and protected communication across software engineering and operational environments. Your work will include implementing and maintaining security measures, analyzing network performance, troubleshooting issues, recommending improvements, and supporting both Linux and Windows systems to ensure secure and efficient network operations.

You Will Excel If You Are::
• Experienced in designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Proficient with Linux and Windows
• Knowledgeable in implementing and maintaining network security measures
• Comfortable performing physical network tasks, including climbing ladders to access equipment
• Skilled in troubleshooting network performance and recommending upgrades or modifications
• Familiar with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources
• Experienced with automation tools such as Ansible or Salt
• Familiar with AWS and virtualized network environments

A Day In The Life Of::
• Designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing enterprise network infrastructures
• Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting connectivity or throughput issues
• Implementing and maintaining network security controls and configurations
• Performing configuration changes, upgrades, and patches on routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
• Supporting Linux and Windows systems, including system administration tasks as required
• Using automation tools such as Ansible or Salt to streamline network operations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable network functionality
• Recommending network upgrades or modifications based on performance and security analysis

Must Have::
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
• Minimum of three (3) years as a Network Engineer within the last three (3) years
• Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows
• CCNA or CCNP certification
• Security+ certification
• Ability to climb ladders and perform physical network installation and maintenance tasks
• Twelve (12) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university, or four (4) additional years of network engineering experience in lieu of a degree
• IAT Level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M

Nice To Have::
• Experience patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources
• Experience developing or using Ansible or Salt scripts
• Experience with AWS and virtualized network environments
• Windows and Linux system administration experience
