We're looking for NWD Engineer to work on the NextGen connectivity platform across platforms. This is an outstanding opportunity to help build an ambitious future for our flagship product.
What You'll Do
Network Testing: Design, develop, and execute test features and validate network functionality, performance, and security.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of solution, test, procedures, and results.
Document network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for reference and knowledge sharing.
Performance Optimization: Work closely with Support engineers to identify opportunities for optimizing network performance and reliability. Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineering, software development, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration and deployment of network changes and updates.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking and quality assurance.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of methodologies and practices.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP Stack.).
Experience with network testing tools and technologies (Wireshark, Iperf, Nmap, etc.).
Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
Familiarity with network security principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What You’ll Need
Industry certifications such as CCIE
Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and virtualization technologies.
Experience with Linux Systems
Knowledge of cloud networking services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Familiarity with network automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for task automation and tool
Experience with network virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
