Key Responsibilities:
• Own the administration, stability, and continuous improvement of a 24/7 production network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and resilience.
• Design, implement, and evolve network solutions in line with business, hardware, and software requirements, with attention to scalability and fault tolerance.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex network incidents, leading deep troubleshooting and root cause analysis to restore service and prevent recurrence.
• Install, configure, optimize, and support enterprise network hardware, including switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint).
• Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and network changes in collaboration with other IT teams.
• Assess change impact, define implementation steps, and support change management activities in production environments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network architecture, configurations, standards, and operational procedures.
• Contribute to operational readiness activities, including patch management, backup and recovery validation, and disaster recovery preparedness.
• Provide on-call and remote support outside standard office hours on a scheduled rotation, responding to critical incidents within a 24/7 operational environment.
Experience:
• Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise networks in a 24/7 production environment, with exposure to complex, business-critical systems.
Technical Skills:
• Strong practical expertise in TCP/IP networking, including packet flow, troubleshooting, and protocol behavior.
• Solid understanding of LAN and WAN architectures, service operation principles, and network performance considerations.
• Hands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing in enterprise environments.
• Advanced understanding of IP addressing and subnetting, including scalable and structured addressing design.
• Working experience with dynamic routing protocols, including OSPF, iBGP, and eBGP, and their use in resilient network designs.
• Experience with network monitoring, configuration management, and operational tools, supporting stability and standardization.
• Practical knowledge of network security concepts, including firewall architectures and IPsec VPNs.
• Experience working with data center network infrastructure, including Cisco Nexus platforms, FEX, and VSS, in high-availability setups.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks and projects from design through implementation.
• Clear and structured communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics, operational issues, and procedures unambiguously.
• Comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical teams across different areas of responsibility in a production environment.
Language Skills:
• Strong professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to participate confidently in technical discussions, produce clear technical documentation, and collaborate effectively with international colleagues and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Check Point network and security equipment.
• Relevant certifications are considered a plus (e.g., CCNA, CCSA).
