About the Role

We are looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced desktop applications used by global construction and engineering companies.

In this role, you will work on long-term customer projects, designing and building scalable desktop solutions using C#, WPF, and SQL databases. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure high engineering standards across the codebase.

This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy complex technical challenges, architecture ownership, and building robust software used in real-world industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using .NET, C#, and WPF
• Build scalable and maintainable solutions backed by SQL databases
• Participate in technical analysis, system design, and architectural decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
• Ensure clean code, maintainability, and high quality standards across projects
• Contribute to internal development guidelines and engineering best practices
• Maintain clear technical documentation to support long-term maintainability
• Provide technical expertise and support on existing applications
• Act as a technical point of contact for project stakeholders when needed
• Support knowledge sharing and mentor team members when appropriate

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with .NET development using C#
• Proven expertise in WPF desktop application development
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases
• Experience with software architecture and clean code practices
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to take ownership of complex technical projects
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Fluent or professional Dutch (daily working language)

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile application development
• Exposure to 3D graphics, geometry-heavy software, or game development
• Interest in construction technology, CAD, or digital manufacturing tools
